Our Bloom & Discovery Tour is a fun, interactive experience where you’ll explore the flower field, learn about edible flowers, and—yes—you’ll even get to taste some of them!

Flowers aren’t just beautiful. Many of them can be used in salads, desserts, drinks, baking, and so much more. During your visit, we’ll introduce you to some of the edible flowers we grow right here at Makkink’s Flower Farm.

Follow the Bloom & Discovery Trail through the flower field and look for the flowers along the way. Your discovery sheet will guide you through the experience with fun questions and interesting facts.

The Bloom & Discovery Tour is part of our Bloom to Table experience, showing how flowers can go from the field to your plate.

You’ll leave with new ideas for using edible flowers at home—and hopefully a new appreciation for the little blooms growing all around us.
